1. Who we are
CD Exposure is a South African business run by Conrad Joubert and Desiré. We design and build websites and online shops for businesses across South Africa, and offer hosting and care plans, logo design, Meta ads and social media management (the "Services").

2. Orders and pricing
All prices are in South African Rand. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed and we send your order confirmation. After that, we will contact you on WhatsApp or email to get started.
We try hard to keep our package descriptions and prices accurate. If an obvious error appears, we may correct it and cancel and refund any order placed against it.
3. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
Website packages, logos and once-off services are paid in full upfront at checkout, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
4. Monthly plans
Hosting & care plans, Meta ads management and social media management are monthly services. Checkout pays your first month. After that, we invoice you monthly and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice. There is no long-term contract. You can cancel with one month's notice by WhatsApp or email.
If a monthly invoice is not paid, we may pause the service, including hosting, until it is paid. We will always warn you first.
5. What we need from you
To deliver on time, we need your content, such as text, logos, photos, prices and opening hours, plus any logins we need, such as for your domain, Shopify, Google or Meta. Delivery times shown on our packages start once we have everything we need from you. If content is delayed for more than 30 days, we may complete the project with placeholder content, or put it on hold.
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all content you send us, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
6. Changes and revisions
Each package includes the number of revision rounds shown on its description. Extra changes, or work outside the package, are quoted separately before we start.
7. Ownership
Once your package is paid in full, the website content, your domain and your Shopify store belong to you and are kept in your name. If you ever move on, we will hand everything over. Logos are yours once paid in full. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8. Third-party costs
Some services rely on third parties, and their costs are not included in our prices unless clearly stated. This includes your Shopify plan and paid apps, Meta ad spend, and any premium tools you choose. These are billed to you directly by those providers.
9. Results
We work hard to help your business get found and get customers, but we cannot guarantee specific results, such as Google rankings, website traffic, leads, sales or ad performance. These depend on many things outside our control.
10. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel an order within 7 days of payment for a full refund if we have not yet started work. Once work has started, we will refund any part of the order not yet done, minus the reasonable value of work already completed. Completed custom work, such as a finished website, logo or ad creatives, cannot be refunded, but we will fix anything that does not match what was agreed. Monthly plans can be cancelled as described in section 4. Months already paid are not refunded.
11. Liability
We take care with every project, but we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms, such as Shopify, Meta, Google, hosting or domain providers, including downtime, account restrictions or policy changes. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service concerned.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those Acts.
13. Contact
If anything here is unclear, or you have a complaint, contact us and we will deal with it properly.
